I'm using the ASP(IIS)-version of inAudio and all I get when I try to access the web-interface is a password-box

This error occurs when you dont have the correct permissions set for the inAudio webfolder.

This problem can be resolved in the following way:
Open a new explorer window. Navigate to the directory where the inAudio webfiles are located.
(for example; c:\inetpub\wwwroot\inaudio)
Right-click on the inaudio-folder with your mouse and select "properties" from the menu that is displayed.
The properties-window for the current directory should be opened.
Click the "security"-tab:

Click the "Add"-button.
The "Select users or Groups"-window will be opened.
Select "IUSR_nnnn" (where nnnn is the name of your computer) from the list and click the "Add"-button.

Click the "OK"-button.
You should now be back inte the properties/security-window.
Make sure that at least "Read & Execute" and "Read" is enabled for the IUSR_nnnn-user.
You may choose to add "List folder contents" as well if you want to.
Now, click the "Advanced"-button.

Uncheck the "Allow inheritable permissions from parent to propagate to this object"-checkbox.
A message will popup, select the "Copy"-button.
Now, check the "Reset permissions on all child objects and enable propagation of inheritable permissions."-checkbox.
Click the "OK"-button.
A messagebox will popup, select the "Yes"-button.
Windows will update some security-permissions.
When done, click "OK" in the properties/security-window.
The password-request when you are trying to access the inaudio searchinterface should now no longer be present.
