The Poem
The tale of little Boogie
Little boogie, played with his ball,
and always refused to share
Come on now boogie! The kids would say,
but Boogie didn’t have a care.
Until one day his ball was stolen,
he cried and he cried until his face was swollen.
Then one day he ran to join the other kids,
he wanted to shoot a hoop.
Get lost little Boogie, the kids would say,
and go and find yourself another group!
